All materials for the CIS 181 IBM Mainframes Z-OS Level I and CIS 281 Mainframes Z-OS Level II courses
offered online at Estrella Mountain are provided by IBM, so there are no books to buy. These courses
will assist students in acquiring the skills necessary to be successful on the IBM Proficiency Exam.
Students who pass the proficiency exam are given the opportunity to submit their resumes on IBM's
internal job posting site, boosting their chances of obtaining a position in this profession.
In order to take the IBM professional exam students must visit Interface Technical Training at 3110 North Centerl Ave, Suit 160,
Phoenix, Arizona. The cost of this exam is $95.00 and the time alloted is 1 hour and 45 minutes.
