1.  COURSE DESCRIPTION

 

Overview of the Internet/WWW and its resources. Hands-on experience with various Internet/WWW communication,

resource discovery, and information retrieval tools. Web page development also included. Prerequisites: None.

 

 

2.  REQUIRED TEXTBOOKS AND SUPPLIES

 

Textbook: Light on the Web: Essentials to Make the Net Work for You by Lehnert

Textbook: HTML and Javascript Basics by Barksdale and Turner

Disk: USB drive is recommended.

6.  ACADEMIC INTEGRITY POLICY

All students assume, as part of their obligation to the college, the responsibility to exhibit in their academic

of formality appropriate to any college teaching/learning situation.  Excessively informal, rude, or insulting language
will not be tolerated.  Students who engage in such behavior will be withdrawn from the course.
