The mission of the Division of Liberal Arts is to teach in and to foster a learner-centered, collaborative, and innovative environment that empowers students to develop critical thinking and communication skills and to recognize diverse backgrounds and abilities.  We promote high standards and levels of integrity by which one can understand oneself and others and thus achieve success in a constantly changing world.
