Math Policies for Adjuncts

A.  Syllabus
In order to maintain consistency and provide a quality education, the math department of EMCC is in the process of implementing a common syllabus.  This will not only benefit students, but will also be helpful for new instructors as EMCC grows in the coming years.  The following list represents the basic pieces that each math syllabus should contain.  It does not matter in what order the items are placed.  More specific templates are included for those who are interested and examples of syllabi done in the past are also available.  The common syllabus provides a framework for all math classes that may change upon agreement of the math instructors.  Please click on the Syllabi link to see course specific syllabi.

NOTE:   Copies of all syllabi must be on file, so please give a copy of your syllabus to Kathy Whitney as soon as possible.
