Developmental Education
The EMCC Developmental Education PLC (2009-2010) resulted from the college’s participation in a number of professional development opportunities offered by Maricopa Center for Learning and Instruction (MCLI) in 2008 and 2009. The EMCC PLC purposes align to a broad Maricopa District initiative to increase the success of students who begin their college experience in under 100 level classes.

The EMCC developmental education professional learning community (PLC) collaborates to insure the use of research-based, best practices to advance the success of students beginning their college careers in under 100 level classes.
