Mission Statement

inspire.teach exists to increase the number of diverse professionals within Arizona's teaching force. It reflects a commitment among secondary, community college, and university partners to inspire students from underrepresented groups to explore, pursue, and excel in a teaching career.

Goals and Objectives

• Develop methods to secure participation of students from underrepresented groups
• Develop focused activities that inspire students to explore a teaching career
• Develop unique approaches that ensure supportive institutional environments at each level
• Identify program commitments of the high school, community college, and university partners
• Develop structures to ensure ongoing communication and working relationships among partners
• Prepare students with the necessary knowledge and skills needed to excel in the teaching profession
• Develop a system to measure outcomes and evaluate program success
