2008 Hermanas Conference

Guided by the mission of increasing the number of underrepresented females in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields, Estrella Mountain and Intel partnered again to plan, design and host the free one-day conference.

This year we are hosting two seperate conferences; one on Saturday, March 1st for middle school students and the other on Wednesday, March 26th for high school students.

The Hermanas conference, provides a supportive environment where the young women interact with successful Latinas, explore technical careers and receive encouragement to finish school, attend college and pursue their goals.

• Meeting with Professional Engineers
• Lunch
• Education Fair
