Course Overview: This Everblue BPI Heating & AC Specialist Certification course includes 5 days of classroom and field training as well as the BPI Heating Professional written and field exams. This course covers heating system science, load & system sizing, ventilation system design & installation, and system diagnostics.
Course Objectives:
1. Understand the different types of heating systems in a home
2. Calculate airflow and max leakage for forced air distribution systems
3. Conduct distribution system efficiency calculations for a home.
Course Materials: Pre-course study materials, Everblue’s Study Guide, Field Training Experience, and Practice Questions.
Prerequisites: BPI Building Analyst certification
Audience: HERS Raters, BPI Building Analyst Professionals, HVAC Professionals, Insulation Professionals, Home Builders, Home Inspectors, General Contractors, Home Builders, Engineers, and Architects.
