Before you connect with EMCC’s 'live help':

  • Ensure that you are at the computer on which you will attend your Elluminate Live session, and that it is connected to the Internet.
  • Ensure that you have a headset with a microphone and speakers to take full advantage of the audio capabilities during the session. If not, let us know by sending an e-mail to: help@emcmail.maricopa.edu .
  • Ensure that you are an administrator on your computer and can install software. If you are unsure, please contact your system administrator.
  • Go to www.elluminate.com/support and verify that below First Time Users you can see:
    Congratulations!

This means that you have all the required software to run Elluminate. If you cannot see the message use the Elluminate help resources, contact us at: help@emcmail.maricopa.edu or call us (623) 935-8150

Follow these steps to finish the setup:

Step 1. Configure Your Audio

  • Click the Configuration Room link.
  • Enter your first name and login. This may take a few minutes.
  • The java screen will pop up. NOTE: If a warning window is displayed, select Run.
  • When you see the license agreements select I Agree and press OK.
  • Select your Internet connection speed.
  • Follow the steps on the right side of the Elluminate screen to finish your setup.
