To copy text in Microsoft Word you highlight the text by clicking and dragging over the text you want to copy. Let’s select the sentence that starts with To enter, then click on  Copy on the Clipboard.

Now place your cursor at the end of your document and click Paste

To undo the last command Click on Undo

You can check an entire document for spelling and grammar by clicking the Review tab, and clicking the Spelling & Grammar button on the toolbar.

The Spell Checker will open up a window with the word you typed and the suggested word it should be.  Choose Keying and click Change

When saving a document, it should be saved to a disc or another location. Choose the Save As on the Office button.  You may choose to save as Word 97-2003 Document if you do not have Word 2007 at home.

The Save As dialog box appears as shown.

In the File Name box type the title of your document. Click the down arrow to the right of the Save in box and choose the drive where you want your saved document to be placed. Then complete the process by choosing the Save button. This concludes our Microsoft Word 2007 Basics tutorial.
