Welcome to Teacher Education at
Estrella Mountain Community College!

EMCC’s teacher education program is known as inspire.teach. Inspire.teach began in 1998 as a 2+2+2 partnership among west valley high school districts, EMCC, and ASU. Over the years, inspire.teach has grown to include more affiliations with numerous high school districts and many universities.

EMCC offers a variety of degree programs and transfer options. We provide foundation education courses for Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Special Education, and Secondary Education.

In addition, EMCC offers professional development opportunities for certified teachers to earn their Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) and Gifted Education endorsements from the AZ Department of Education.
