Event Planning on Campus
The Facilities Planning office is here to assist you in planning and executing meetings and events on campus. Facilities, space, or event room rental reservations for use of rooms and exterior spaces on campus fall under 3 categories:
Employees
Employees should start with the Event Planning Checklist. Review processes for approvals to ensure you have all necessary departmental processes completed. Scheduling meetings in the event calendar is as easy as using the employee calendar to check for space availability and then completing a room request form to book the room. The room request form is located on the top bar of the employee calendar.
Community
Community users will want to review How to Rent a Room and related facility use links. Use the contact information to ask questions, reserve a room, or book a tour of available spaces. Spaces available for rent vary by size and amendities.
Students
Students need to work with their instructor, or club advisor, who can reserve space according to MCCCD policies.
