Awards for Excellence

Student Advocate Award – Recognizes a faculty or staff member for outstanding support to a student, or group of students, through an achievement or activity that fosters a pathway for student success.

Outstanding Alumni Award - Recognizes an EMCC alumnus who has distinguished themselves by contributions they have made in their field of endeavor, by the leadership they have exhibited and by the general benefits to the community resulting from their activities.

EMCC Woman of the Year

Recognizes a woman who has demonstrated significant success and/or achievement during the past year.

Innovation of the Year

Recognizes a team's innovations that makes life easier here at the community college. The innovations will be judged by quality, efficiency, cost effectiveness, replication, creativity, timeliness, learning, and collaboration.

NISOD Awards

Recognizes board approved employees with a minimum of three years length of service at EMCC.

Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Award

The Oustanding Adjunct Faculty Award is an award given annually by the MCCCD Adjunct Faculty Association to Adjunct Faculty who evidence excellence in teaching.
