Board Approved Employees
Steps for Posting a Job for Board Approved Employees
- Contact Human Resources with request to post board approved position.
- Complete hiring timeline and submit to Human Resources.
- Complete a Job Requisition Form located on the top right under downloads for position.
- Notes: Job Requisitions (JR) are due to District Employee Services two (2) Thursdays before the Monday it will appear in the Job Opportunities Bulletin/website.
- Submit completed Job Requisition Form to Human Resources.
Contact Human Resources for assistance with further Job Posting Processes including screening and interview processes.
Federal Work Study Hiring
The information posted is for supervisors that are interested in hiring a federal work study student. The steps are listed below.
- Supervisor would e-mail Yolanda Noriega to see if student is eligible for FWS
- If student is eligible, supervisor will need to get new hire packet for student to fill out from HR
- Once supervisor receives e mail from HR of the employee ID, they need to forward it with new employee information to Yolanda.
- Name
- Student ID
- Start date
- Pay rate per hour
- Department and duties
Yolanda Noriega will then award FWS.
RPS
On the right is the Estrella Mountain Community College Flow Chart for the RPS process.
Note : A RPS start date needs to be the beginning of the pay period (Saturday) of a non payroll week.
