How do I adjust my time in HRMS after the Time and Labor deadline?

An Absence Adjustment form will have to be completed with your supervisors signature and turned into Human Resources office to get your time adjusted.

How does Time and Labor work?

How T & L works is that when an employee enters time, the button will turn yellow. This means there is time waiting to be updated by the "Time Administration" process that will process it and turn it into payable time. It runs approx. every hour.  You can't approve time that has a yellow button. When this process is done, it will move the time to payable time, you will see it to approve it (in your approval list) and the button will turn red.  Once you approve it, the button will turn green.

So, if you click to approve the payable time (button is red) the button turns green at first and then right away turns back to red, this means there are hours from a previous payperiod that weren't approved and need to be acknowledged. This is a way of letting you know that.

Periodically check the 2 boxes that say "Include Inactive Jobs In List" and "Include Non-Direct Report Reports In List" to see if there is anything that expired because a job or employee was terminated and their time needs approval.

When is a timecard required vs. entering time in HRMS Time and Labor

If the HRMS Time & labor Manager Approval deadline has expired (typically this deadline is the monday of the week of payday) then a timecard will be needed to pay for time not entered into employee HRMS Time & Labor
