EMCC Woman of the Year
EMCC Woman of the Year
Each year in conjunction with Women's History Month, the MCCCD Women's Leadership Group (WLG) sponsors a district-wide Woman of Distinction Celebration to honor one woman from each college. As part of the process, each college is asked to select a woman who has demonstrated significant success and/or achievement during the past year in the following key areas:
- Leadership - How does she demonstrate leadership at any level of the organization?
- Innovation - How has she developed ' out of the box ' solutions to college issues?
- Service - How does she go above and beyond her immediate job responsibilities?
- Contribution to Women - How does she contribute to the professional lives of Maricopa women?
Deadline for nominations will be posted soon, nominations should be sent to estrella.president@estrellmountain.edu. The committee to select this year’s EMCC Woman of Distinction will be comprised of previous winners.
Nominations should include the following information:
Name, Title, and Position of the woman you are nominating.
The nomination can be as long as needed to show how she exemplifies the criteria below, but please also needs to include an executive summary of no more than 75 words.
