Satisfactory Academic Progress and Petitions

Due to the high volume of Satisfactory Academic Progress petitions received in August 2009, petitions submitted to our office after August 12, 2009 may take up to 30 business days to review. To avoid being dropped from your classes, it is highly recommended that you pay your tuition, or get on the Tuitition Payment Plan. • Satisfactory Academic Progress - Minimum standards students must meet to continue to receive financial aid
• Suspension Petition - For students on suspension due to not completing 2/3 of all credits attempted
• Maximum Timeframe Petition - For student who have attempted 150% or more credits needed for a program, or students who have previous degrees.
• Maximum Timeframe Petition Addendum - For students that need to make adjustments to an already existing petition
• Consortium Agreement - For students attending more that one school in a single semester
