The Fitness Center serves a diverse population from the west valley. Participants include youth, senior citizens, working adults and traditional college students. We maintain a customer first environment and support our students by providing the opportunity, resources, motivation and assistance necessary to achieve a higher level of personal health and wellness through a wide variety of physical activity and educational experiences.

Exercise & wellness instructional support
- Please note that exercise and wellness instruction is available to anyone registered in Fitness Center classes at no additional fee.
- If you are new to exercise please see a Fitness Instructor for introductory information before your first work out.
- All students, regardless of experience are strongly encouraged to work with a Fitness Instructor to get organized on a focused individual exercise and wellness plan. We also urge you to meet regularly with an Instructor throughout the semester to review and update your plan as appropriate for you and your goals.
- All Fitness Instructors at the EMCC Fitness Center hold a minimum of an undergraduate degree in exercise & wellness education. A number of the instructors hold graduate degrees. Please avail yourself of their expertise.
