Sometimes more
than one section meets in the same room at the same time. This is
a “Concurrent Sections” situation where one section is designated the ‘major’
section and the others are designated ‘minor’ sections. Using this method causes
the minor section to automatically zero (0) load the class, so that the
instructor does not get paid twice. Students are only able to register for one
section when the classes are concurrently linked.
More information on this subject can be found in the SIS help menu
