Below are the steps to find your MAC address
Follow the steps for your operating system.

Windows 98 Users

  • Click on the Start Button
  • Select "Run"
  • Type winipcfg
  • Click on the "More" button
  • Look for the MAC Address Field

Windows VISTA Users

  • Click on the Start Button
  • In the Search field type "cmd" enter 
  • At the command prompt, type "ipconfig /all"
  • Look for the section that contains information about your wireless network card
  • Mac Address will be labeled "Physical Address"

Windows 2000/XP Users

  • Click on the Start Button
  • Select "Run"
  • Type cmd and hit enter
  • At the command prompt, type "ipconfig /all"
  • Look for the section that contains information about your wireless network card
  • Mac Address will be labeled "Physical Address"

RedHat Linux Users

  • Open a shell
  • Type "ifconfig"
  • On the first line of the section for your wireless network card, look for the field that says HWAddr

Mac OSX Panther Users (10.3.0 and higher)

  • Click on Apple icon in the upper left hand corner
  • Click About This Mac
  • Click the More Info button
  • In the System Profile window, select Network
  • Select the Airport tab
  • Look for Ethernet Address, this is your Mac Address

Mac OSX Jaguar Users (10.2.0 to 10.2.8)

  • Click on the Apple icon in the upper left hand corner
  • Click About This Mac
  • Click the More Info button
  • In the Apple System Profiler, select System Profile
  • Select Airport
  • Look for Ethernet Address, this is your Mac Address
