Below are the steps to find your MAC address
Follow the steps for your operating system.
Windows 98 Users
- Click on the Start Button
- Select "Run"
- Type winipcfg
- Click on the "More" button
- Look for the MAC Address Field
Windows VISTA Users
- Click on the Start Button
- In the Search field type "cmd" enterÂ
- At the command prompt, type "ipconfig /all"
- Look for the section that contains information about your wireless network card
- Mac Address will be labeled "Physical Address"
Windows 2000/XP Users
- Click on the Start Button
- Select "Run"
- Type cmd and hit enter
- At the command prompt, type "ipconfig /all"
- Look for the section that contains information about your wireless network card
- Mac Address will be labeled "Physical Address"
RedHat Linux Users
- Open a shell
- Type "ifconfig"
- On the first line of the section for your wireless network card, look for the field that says HWAddr
Mac OSX Panther Users (10.3.0 and higher)
- Click on Apple icon in the upper left hand corner
- Click About This Mac
- Click the More Info button
- In the System Profile window, select Network
- Select the Airport tab
- Look for Ethernet Address, this is your Mac Address
Mac OSX Jaguar Users (10.2.0 to 10.2.8)
- Click on the Apple icon in the upper left hand corner
- Click About This Mac
- Click the More Info button
- In the Apple System Profiler, select System Profile
- Select Airport
- Look for Ethernet Address, this is your Mac Address
