Scrapbooking Workshop - National Scrapbooking Day Local Creative Memories Consultant will be hosting this event at Estrella Mountain Community College. The main workshop is 9 am - 4:30 pm with one beginner session available. Choose the activity that best suits you!! All sections are $5 per class with a $20 materials fee. This class allows you to paint a subject of your choice if you do not wish to paint the two subjects the instructor will demonstrate in these eight classes. Beginning Sketching and Drawing In this enjoyable four-week class, we'll work our way through a number of exercises designed to train the eye, hand and imagination to work as a unit (or a team). You'll learn about shapes and shading; learn how to look at things as an artist and draw what you see more accurately; and more. Technique is strongly emphasized so students have a good basic background and working knowledge to make a variety of projects after the class is finished. Two pieces are usually completed by the end of the 5th session. Bring your own tools: glass cutter, breaking pliers, soldering iron, tack hammer, horseshoe nails or pins, permanent felt tip marker, a lightweight work board and glass selections to go with your design.
