Pharmacy Technician Test Preparation Program
This comprehensive 72 hour course will prepare students to enter the pharmacy field and to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board’s PTCB exam. Technicians work in hospitals, home infusion pharmacies, community pharmacies and other health care settings – working under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. Course content includes medical terminology specific to the pharmacy, reading and interpreting prescriptions and defining drugs by generic and brand names. Students will learn dosage calculations, I.V. flow rates, drug compounding, dose conversions, dispensing of prescriptions, inventory control and billing and reimbursement. This program qualifies for the eCashier® Student Tuition Payment Plan.

Getting Paid to Talk - An Introduction to Professional Voice Acting
Have you ever been told that you have a great voice? This exciting class will explore numerous aspects of voice acting work for television, film, radio, and books on tape, documentaries and the internet. We will cover all the basics, including how to prepare the all important demo and how to be successful and earn great income in this exciting field. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and to hear examples of demos recorded by professional voice actors. Class participants will even have a chance to record a commercial script under the direction of our Voicecoaches.com producer! This class is informative, lots of fun, and a great first step for anyone interested in voice acting professionally.

OSHA Hazard Communication
In 1984, OSHA published the hazard communication standard which requires employers to provide information and training to employees whose job duties involve the use of chemicals. This free class provides detailed information about the standard specifically addressing the employer’s duty to have a written hazard communication program, material safety data sheets, container labeling, and employee training to eliminate or otherwise control any hazard to employee health or safety when using chemicals in the workplace.

OSHA Workplace Violence Prevention
Recently we have been exposed to a hazard in the workplace that has before gone relatively unnoticed. Workplace violence is a cruel reality that includes physical and psychological hazards. Although there are no specific OSHA standards that address this growing issue, there have been guidelines issued by OSHA and other government agencies. This free class covers information regarding the most recent violence in the workplace, prevention strategies, workplace violence programs and ways to eliminate the hazard before it escalates into violence.

OSHA Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tag out)
This free class is designed to provide employers and employees basic awareness training in the OSHA standards for controlling hazardous energy and the lockout/tag out procedures necessary for practical safeguarding of employees in the workplace. Free handouts and resource materials will be provided. Remember it is the employer’s responsibility to instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and in the regulations applicable to the work environment to control or eliminate any hazard.

OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens
Occupationally exposed employees must be provided a safe and healthy work environment with protection against bloodborne pathogens, as stated in the OSHA standard.
