First Aid & CPR

Babysitting workshop (Ages 11 and up)

Be prepared for an emergency. In this class you will learn childcare, drowning prevention, fire safety, bicycle safety, pedestrian safety, personal safety, child development, cooking safety, poison awareness, and CPR.  Students who pass the class will receive a certificate of completion.

First Aid

This course is designed to recognize the signs and symptoms of injuries and sudden illness. Crucial information of how to deal with emergencies like bleeding, shock, burns, etc. This nationally accepted program satisfies the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Participants will receive a certification card upon completion of the course; the card is valid for 2 years. (First Aid, Basic CPR and CPR Pro are taught in the same class, please call 623-535-2800 to register as a health care provider for CPR PRO.)

Basic CPR

The Goal of the CPR course is to provide individuals with a clear and comprehensive understanding that will be effective in an emergency. Additionally, the curriculum has been found acceptable for meeting requirements established by state child care licensing, and is consistent with widely accepted guidelines for cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Includes Adult, Child, Infant CPR & Chocking. (First Aid, Basic CPR and CPR Pro are taught in the same class, please call 623-935-8426 to register as a health care provider for CPR PRO.) 

CPR PRO

This class is designed for individuals who work in the health care industry: nurses, nursing students, dental assistants, emergency care workers, and nursing home employees. The curriculum is consistent with the widely accepted guidelines for professional level cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Includes Adult, Child, Infant CPR & Chocking. (First Aid, Basic CPR and CPR Pro are taught in the same class, please call 623-535-2800 to register as a health care provider for CPR PRO.)

HCC109 – CPR for the Health Care Provider
Current standards for one and two rescuer CPR and obstructed airway procedures on the adult, infant, and pediatric victim and AED. Successful completion qualifies student for an American Heart Association CPR Card for health care provider.

Daytime Classes - 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M
Evening Classes - 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
