Fabulous Faux Walls: Part I
Learn the basics in faux finishes to create fabulous walls. A professional faux painter shares her shortcuts and secrets. Come dressed to paint in this hands-on workshop. Learn to achieve fabulous walls with just a twist of the wrist (and other tricks of the trade).

Stamping and More!
You’ll learn how to create fantastic cards, beautiful scrapbook layouts, tile coasters, decorative candles and how to stamp on glass to make unique gifts using a variety of techniques and an exciting array of rubber stamps and accessories. The class is formatted for all types of stampers from beginners to the more advanced stamper. Come join us and learn how fun and easy paper crafting really is. All of your supplies are included to make 5 cards, 4 coasters and a 2 page scrapbook layout, candle and decorative glass canister. Instruction sheets are given at the end of the class to review all of the techniques and projects completed during the course. Paper Album - perfect for gift giving
Make a one of a kind gift; add your fun pictures to a 7x7 paper album. Bring up to 15 photos to personalize your album or decorate your pages to add the pictures later. Scrapbooking Workshop
Local Creative Memories Consultant will be hosting this event at Estrella Mountain Community College. The main workshop is 9 am - 4:30 pm with one beginner session available. I’m a beginner. For the beginner, we will be offering a Beginner Basics class that teaches tips on organizing, hands on use of tools and the dos and don’ts of album making. This class focuses on teaching a simple method that helps you complete your albums quickly. You will see traditional, digital and pocket scrapbooking. There's sure to be a style for you! It is not necessary to bring any supplies, but you may bring a pack of photos if you'd like to practice the techniques in class.

Oil Painting
This class is designed for beginners over 16 as well as those more advanced. This class allows you to paint a subject of your choice if you do not wish to paint the two subjects the instructor will demonstrate in these eight classes. Feel free to bring your own picture to copy or items to set up a still life and the size canvas you will need for it. You will all received help from the instructor as you need it from your first strokes to your completed painting. We will learn the basics of mixing paint, preparing your canvas, brush techniques, planning a focal point, good composition basics, and much more. Beginning Stained Glass
You will learn the techniques of copper foil with the traditional leaded method. Technique is strongly emphasized so students have a good basic background and working knowledge to make a variety of projects after the class is finished. Two pieces are usually completed by the end of the 5th session. Bring your own tools: glass cutter, breaking pliers, soldering iron, tack hammer, horseshoe nails or pins, permanent felt tip marker, a lightweight work board and glass selections to go with your design.
