Type Guidelines: Print
  • The logotype is Times Roman Bold with large initial caps and remainder small caps. The logotype is specifically designed and may not be altered or modified.
  • The secondary identity type face is Helvetica or Arial.
  • One typeface may be used throughout a document, or both typefaces may be employed in a consistent fashion within one document; e.g.,     
Helvetica or Arial Bold Italic headings

All official documents representing Estrella Mountain Community College must be composed of the various versions of the two designated identity system typefaces.

Type Guidelines: Web

Due to the nature of web publishing it is difficult to control how type will be viewed on an individual machine.

The following will provide standard guidelines that ensure consistent viewing patterns amoung users.

When designating a type face please use the following from your font pulldown menu.

Font Style
Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif
Or
TimesNew Roman, Times, serif

Font Size
Headline(s) - Size "4"
Body Text - Size "3"

All pages linked from the home page or the second layer, representing Estrella Mountain Community College, must be composed of the above designated identity system typefaces.
