April 21, 2009 Upcoming Events: Teacher Ed 101, Free Piano Recital Avondale, Arizona - April 21, 2009 College Hosts Workshop to Prepare Teachers of Tomorrow Estrella Mountain Community College will host "Teacher Education 101" on Wednesday, April 29, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the Estrella Hall Community Room. The workshop will provide an opportunity for future teachers to explore the educational options available to help them achieve their dream of becoming a teacher. Estrella Mountain Community College, NAU, ASU West, Grand Canyon University, and University of Phoenix will all participate in the workshop. Free Piano Recital at Estrella Mountain Community College Estrella Mountain Community College will host a free piano recital on Wednesday, April 29, 2009, from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. in the college's Plaza Gallery. Dr. Cezar Ferrari will perform a recital of international piano pieces from Europe and Brazil representing various style periods.
