04-09-12; Threats
A student received a threatening Facebook post while in class. The victim’s residence is in Phoenix. Phoenix PD took a report and the student has been given protective escorts on campus.
04-10-12; Harassment
A student made a complaint against another student. The situation was turned over to the Dean of Students.
04-16-12; Identity Theft
An employee reported identity theft as he received emails indicating loans he did not apply for. His residence is in Surprise, he was referred to Surprise PD.
04-16-12; Non-forcible sex offense
Two juvenile students were reported to be in the back seat of a vehicle in lot A having sex. Upon contact by public safety the investigation determined no crime had been committed. Both students were released to their parents and a report forwarded to the Dean of Students.

A student was removed from the Library due intoxication. EMS transported the student to West Valley hospital. Dean of Students advised.
03-20-12; Criminal Damage
A student reported her tires slashed while on campus, but no evidence could determine that.
03-28-12; Intoxicated person
The student involved from the incident on the 27th was found intoxicated and passed out at the college vehicle entrance. The student was again transported to West Valley hospital. Dean of Students advised.

A possible theft suspect was released when the victim declined prosecution.
02-01-12; Domestic dispute
A former domestic couple were arguing in the parking lot. Upon contact both were found to have outstanding arrest warrants. Care of the child in common was granted to the mother and the father was arrested on the warrant. Avondale PD took disposition.
02-04-12; Criminal damage
A visitor to the college had damage to her vehicle while attending the Parenting Class as a court requirement.

A male made unwanted attempts to kiss a female visitor to the campus who was here taking placement tests. Identity of the suspect is unknown. No prosecution was desired. Attempts to locate the male have been negative at this time.

A female student was spit on while exchanging her child with the child’s father who is not a student. Avondale PD assisted.
01-25-12; Disturbance
A former student caused a disruption with Public Safety officers as they patrolled the campus. The matter is being handled by the Dean of Students.

A non-student was contacted extremely intoxicated in lot B. The subject passed out and was transported by EMS to the West Valley Hospital for treatment.
12-09-11; Sex offense-non forcible
An adult male and adult female were reported engaging in consensual sexual activity in the men’s restroom of Estrella Hall. The prospective students were referred to the Dean of Students.
12-10-11; Disruptive person
Three subjects were disruptive in the Library over the use of a computer. Two were students and one was a visitor. The matter was referred to the Dean of Students.

A student parked in lot A reported their vehicle had been struck by another. The owner of vehicle causing the damage did not leave the required information.
10-28-11; Domestic Dispute
A student was in a verbal argument with his girlfriend in lot A. The girlfriend was instructed to leave campus.
10-28-11; Trespassing
Two magazine salesmen were contacted and trespassed from campus for harassing students.
11-15-11; Domestic dispute
Two students who are in a relationship were verbally arguing and causing concern. The two were counseled on their behavior and calmed down.

A non-student was observed on campus going through garbage cans and trying to operate a cash register located at the Courtyard Grill. The person was trespassed from campus and escorted off site.

A student hit a visitor with a wooden sword after a verbal altercation in Komatke C. The student was arrested. This matter was also referred to the Dean of Students.
04-20-11; Information
A female student reported an off campus incident involving a male student. A court order was issued and served upon the male student regarding the incident. The report was forwarded to the Dean of Students.
04-25-11; Disorderly conduct
Several former and current students were involved in an altercation in the Student Life lounge. The report was forwarded to the Dean of Students.
04-26-11; Trespassing
Two non students were driving erratically in parking lot A. When stopped they had no legitimate reason for being on campus. They were told not to return.
04-28-11; Assault
Students reported being touched inappropriately by an instructor. Avondale PD is assisting with the case. The report was forwarded to the college administration.

Several students were disrupting the Student Life lounge area and were removed for the day.

Students were involved in an altercation that was unrelated to the incident listed above. The incident report and video evidence was forwarded to the Dean for review.

A student left her wallet in the women’s restroom in Estrella Hall. Upon her return approximately 15-20 minutes later, it was gone.

A student left his backpack unattended during a campus event. Upon his return his cell phone had been stolen.
03-01-11; Fight
Two female students had a physical fight due to an off campus issue. Both declined prosecution. The matter was referred to the Dean of Students.
03-09-11; Behavior concern
A student’s behavior was a concern of a faculty member as he was dropped from class. Public Safety was requested to stand by for subsequent classes with no further incident. The matter was referred to the Dean of Students.
03-16-11; Theft
A student had a bike storage bag taken off their bicycle at the bike rack near lot B.
03-22-11; Dangerous Drugs
A student was observed smoking what was later found to be synthetic marijuana. Due to the recent changes in the ARS statutes reference this drug and the enforcement of the recent law changes; the student was released pending a review by the county attorney’s office and lab testing of the substance. The matter was also referred to the Dean of Students.
03-23-11; Subject Disturbing
A non-student was disrupting the Computer Commons and accusing staff of inappropriate behavior. The information was taken by the supervisor of the area and the subject left the area. During the contact the person exhibited signs of mental illness to several employees and public safety officers.
03-23-11; Trespassing
The same non-student from the incident referenced above was back in the library behaving irrationally and making incoherent statements to staff members. Upon contact she was escorted to the public safety office. Due to her refusal to provide identification and her behavior, Avondale PD assisted. The subject was trespassed from the campus.
03-24-11; Theft
A students bicycle was stolen from the bike rack located near the CTL.
03-25-11; Fire
A late report was filed reference a kitchen fire in the culinary area. Hand held extinguishers were used to put out the flames. Facilities notified.

An employee had cash removed from their purse while on her desk within their work cubical in Komatke Hall.

A student had her bag taken from the bookstore cubical where those shopping are required to place personal items.
10-13-10; Trespassing
Non-student solicitors were directed to contact Student Life for permission to be on campus. Upon their refusal to go to Student Life, they were trespassed from campus.

The wall outside the patio area of Student Life was found and removed.
10-14-10; Domestic Dispute
A student and non-student spouse were observed in lot G arguing. College police officers intervened. The non-student had a firearm in their vehicle lawfully. Non-student trespassed.

Possible gang markings left on the campus sign outside Komake B building.

A student reported via telephone she believed her wallet to have been stolen on campus. Her purse was left unattended at two different locations during the day while she was on campus.

A non-student was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
09-08-10; Warrant arrest
A vehicle was casing the parking lots and stopped by a college police officer. Both males in the vehicle were non-students with extensive criminal histories. One was male had an active arrest warrant. A search incident to arrest revealed drug paraphernalia. The subject was arrested and charged.

An employee has items stolen from their unsecured vehicle in lot E.
09-14-10; Disruptive person
A former student returned to campus upset and using profanity towards employees due to his frustrations with an online application process for his national certification.
09-18-10; Theft
A catering cart from an outside vendor was reported stolen. An investigation recovered the cart on the 23rd and returned to the vendor.

A student had $2 in coins stolen from his unsecured vehicle in lot E.

A visitor had personal property stolen from her unsecured vehicle in the gravel lot.

A non student male was drunk on campus and approached a female student. She was concerned for her safety. The drunk person was detained by campus police officers and subsequently released to medical personnel for transport to the hospital for further medical care.
09-02-10; Harassment
A female student reported being harassed by a male student. The male student was found to have an active arrest warrant and was arrested pursuant to the warrant. The harassing incident was forwarded to the Dean of Students for code of conduct evaluation.

A male visitor being observed in a vehicle in lot E began to inappropriately touch himself in plain view. He was contacted and trespassed from the campus.

A vending machine was discovered damaged in Montezuma Hall.

Sexually explicit materials were found on the printer in Kom B depicting minors. Avondale PD assisting with the case.
04-12-10; Drunk Person
A student arrived drunk on campus to report his backpack stolen from the shopping area east of Dysart Road. He was told to report the theft to Avondale PD and he was referred to the Dean of Students for his behavior.
04-28-10; Drugs
A bag of marijuana was found in the Ocotillo family restroom. It was turned over to Avondale PD for destruction.
05-05-10; Student Code Violation
A student who had been previously been caught viewing sexually explicit material was caught again. The student was referred to the Dean of Students.
05-06-10; Missing Person
A mother reported her daughter missing. With the assistance of the Public Safety staff, the female student was found unharmed on campus.
