Authority
Certified Public Safety Officers are peace officers empowered by the Arizona Peace Officers Standards and Training Board (AZPOST) with the authority to conduct investigations and make arrests. The PSD also maintains a cooperative working relationship with the Avondale Police Department and will request assistance as needed.

The Public Safety Office is located at the North end of Komatke Hall and can be easily identified by the Safety & Security awning over the entrance.
