Carlotta Abrams' Bio

| Dr. Abrams received her Ph.D. in Asian American studies from the University of Southern Mississippi. Her Fine Arts Masters degree is from Arizona State University in creative writing. Dr. Abrams has been involved in Service Learning since she began at EMCC in 1996. Besides her involvement at the Westside Food Bank, Tolleson Pride Day, Black History Month, and other events too numerous to name, she requires Service Learning in her English composition courses. Her students have done hosts of projects in the community, and then used the experiences to enrich their writing. |
