Beginning in Fall 2004, the EMCC Honors Program and Beta Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa took their community service to a new level with the member requirement of Service Learning projects.

PTK SCHOLARSHIPS-ESSAY WINNERS FOCUS ON SERVICE LEARNING

Last year's All-USA scholarship winners won after writing about their Serving Learning experiences at EMCC. Service learning helps make students more competitive for scholarships.
