Leadershape

Student Ambassador

Student Ambassadors conduct campus tours, assist with recruitment activities, participate in various campus initiatives, and serve as a student representative on campus committies.

Student Public Policy Forum

The Student Public Policy Forum (SPPF) is a co-curricular activity that provides an overview of local, state and national public policy making, citizen influence and involvement. A focus is placed on experiential learning, leadership development, and student engagement in public policy processes. During the course of the program, students will research and prepare to speak on higher education issues (Green sheet issues) specifically related to community colleges.

Maricopa Community Colleges Leadership Retreat

Each fall the Maricopa Community Colleges provides a one day leadership retreat for students.  The one day retreat is free for MCC students, and transportation is provided.  For additional information, please contact Herschel Jackson at 623-935-8910.

 

Leadership Workshops

Throughout the year the Student Life & Leadership Office provides various leadership workshops for Estrella Mountain Community College students.  To find out more about these workshops, please stop by the Student Life & Leadership Office.

 

CPD103BL Dynamics of Leadership Class

This fun and exiting class focuses on various aspects of leadership, and how to be a leader.Students who take this class will have the opportunity to interact with key campus administrators.After completing this class, students will be eligible to participate in different campus based leadership programs as facilitators.  For more information, please contact Herschel Jackson at 623-935-8910.
