New Student Orientation is designed to inform incoming students about the EMCC campus, available resources, faculty and staff expectations, opportunities offered, and standard community college logistics. The ultimate goal of the New Student Orientation (NSO) is to provide students with the resources they’ll need to maximize their potential and successfully manage their college experience and encourage further success. New Student Orientation is a mandatory enrollment step and students need to attend the orientation in its entirety. Students who miss some or all of the orientation will need to reschedule for a new orientation.

Students can register by selecting the New Student Orientation Signup Form link on the top left corner under Frequently Asked Questions. Students will receive a reminder email one businessday prior to their scheduled orientaion.

Students must attend a Priorty Advisement Workshop (PAW) prior to attending the New Student Orientation.
