New Student Orientation is designed to inform incoming students about the EMCC campus, available resources, faculty and staff expectations, opportunities offered, and standard community college logistics. The ultimate goal of the New Student Orientation (NSO) is to provide students with the resources they’ll need to maximize their potential and successfully manage their college experience and encourage further success. New Student Orientation is a mandatory enrollment step and students need to attend the orientation in its entirety. Students who miss some or all of the orientation will need to reschedule for a new orientation.

Students can register by selecting the New Student Orientation Signup Form link on the top left corner under Frequently Asked Questions. We do not accommodate sign-ups/registration the day of the session.
The date that you register for is your date. WE DO NOT SEND CONFIRMATIONS. YOUR SIGN-UP IS YOUR CONFIRMATION. PLEASE WRITE DOWN THE DATE/TIME/PLACE OF THE SESSION YOU CHOOSE.

Students must attend a Priority Advisement Workshop (PAW) prior to attending the New Student Orientation.

The following NSO dates are available:

Thursday, August 20, 2015, Estrella Conference Center - 1:00PM-4:00PM

Friday, August 21, 2015, Estrella Conference Center - 9:30AM-12:30PM
