Commuter Guide to Alternative Transportation
We realize that participating in an alternate mode of transportation may require a little extra planning and coordination to achieve time and money benefits. Estrella Mountain Community College participates in the MCCCD's Trip Reduction Program where we seek to provide incentives that encourage and thank you for doing your part to clean the air.
The Clean Air Act is the law that defines EPA's responsibilities for protecting and improving the nation's air quality and the stratospheric ozone layer. Considering alternative modes of transportation helps to greatly reduce the number of 'High Pollution Advisory Days'. Below are some ways in which you can help reduce air pollution through transportation.
- Ride a Bike
- Use Public Transit
- Drive an Alternative Fuel Vehicle
Please refer to EMCC's Public Safety Website for Parking for additional parking regulations and guidelines.
