The approximate time for processing your Federal Application for aid is 4-6 weeks.

Federal Terms and Conditions for FA Recipients

#1. Be pursuing a certificate program with a minimum of 600 clock hours.

#2.
Have a high school diploma or GED.

#3.
Fulfill and adhere to all Federal and State laws and regulations as mandated to include all institutional policies.

Parental information and signature is required on your FAFSA if a student is a dependent student. A dependent student is a student who does not meet any of the following criteria:

  • is at least 24 years old before December 31 of the academic year you apply for
  • is a Military member having completed Basic training in one of the U.S. Armed Services
  • is Married
  • is enrolled in a graduate or professional program beyond a bachelor's degree
  • provides more than half the support for dependents other than a spouse
     

#5. Be a U.S. Citizen or eligible non-citizen.

#6.
Be registered with Selective Service if required (in general, if you are a male age 18 - 25).

#7.
Certify that you are not in default on a federal loan or owe money on a federal grant.

#8.
Certify that you will use federal student aid only for educational purposes.

#9.
Meet satisfactory academic progress standards
