Full-time, One Year Only (OYO) Financial Aid Technical Assistant
Hours: Monday 8-5, Tuesday-Thursday 10-7, Friday 8-5
Salary: Hourly rate $ 14.11

This position will be located at 3000 North Dysart Road, Avondale AZ 85392

JOB DESCRIPTION
This position works in a Student Financial Aid Office. Work contacts include students, staff, student loan lenders and other various outside agencies. Provides a variety of responsible application processing, customer service, record keeping, and other activities in a Financial Aid Office.

Ability to: maintain ongoing knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations of financial aid programs; type at an acceptable rate of speed; learn to use financial aid computer system and equipment; establish and maintain accurate records; perform basic mathematical calculations; communicate effectively orally and in writing and establish cooperative working relationships with persons contacted in the course of performing assigned duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities to complete the assigned duties. An example of this would be responsible data entry, data processing, or other clerical experience requiring attention to detail and certification of information for accuracy and completeness.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of: financial aid regulations and procedures; standard office practices, procedures, Student Information computer systems, and equipment.
