Custom Workforce Training

Estrella Mountain Community College has been educating the West Valley community since 1990 through cutting edge educational opportunities and workforce training.  Located in the fastest growing region of the country, the college's service area population is expected to grow to more than 1.6 million people by 2030.  This means more job opportunities and career advancement in the West Valley.  Estrella is prepared to help enhance job skills of existing employees as well as be a recruiting source for highly trained new hires.  The products and services listed below can help us build a trained workforce together:

Free Consultation

We offer free in-person consultation to assess your company's training needs.  We work closely with your representatives to create pragmatic curriculum with flexible scheduling and pricing.  If you are unsure of where to start, take a few minutes to complete the short self-assessment in our brochure and then give Workforce Training a call at 623-535-2700 or e-mail CWT@estrellamountain.edu.

Customized Training

Workforce Training at Estrella Mountain Community College provides cutting edge training for employers.  Our aim is to increase workforce performance and retention by identifying training solutions and applying those solutions to meet company specific needs.  We deliver convenience, flexibility in programming and pricing, customization, and practical applications.  Classes are available in person, online and in a hybrid format.  Contact us for more information at CWT@estrellamountain.edu, or call 623-535-2700.

Continuing Education

Estrella Mountain's business and occupational courses provide students with comprehensive skill development in specialized areas.  These programs are designed to prepare students for immediate employment or career advancement.  Many programs give the option of a one-year certificate or a two-year Associate in Applied Science degree.  The Custom Workforce staff can work with you, the employer, to prepare students for employment, current skill enhancement, or career advancement.  Click here for all of Estrella's Degree and Certificate programs.   

Fast Track

The SouthWest Skill Center has been meeting the West Valley's need for job training and career development since 2000.  Short-term, hands-on training programs prepare students for careers that are in high demand such as Emergency Medical Technology, Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Distribution Logistics Technician, Phlebotomy, and many more.  Click here for SouthWest Skill Center programs.

Internship Opportunities
