Make-Up Exams

To submit a make-up exam, faculty will need to:

  1. Download the Proctored Testing Form and open in Adobe Acrobat DC for fillable method.
  2. Complete the form and identify what materials are needed for the exam (only items identified by the instructor are allowed into the testing area – e.g., calculator, notes, etc).
  3. If more than 4 students are testing, include a class roster with the Proctored testing form.
  4. Submit the Proctored Testing Form, class roster, and exam via email to learningsupporttesting@estrellamountain.edu or in person at the Computer Commons to the testing technician.
  5. All exams must be submitted to Instructional Testing at least 24 hours prior to the testing dates.
(Note: Appointments with students cannot be confirmed until exams are received.)
  6. Remind student(s) to complete the Instructional Makeup Test Request Form, located on the tab to the left under "STUDENT" to request an appointment to take their exams with a 24 hour advance notice.
(Note: If students do not contact Instructional Testing for an appointment within the allotted time, the exam will not be able to be administered.)
  7. Pick up the completed exams from Instructional Testing during normal hours of operation.

Note:

  • It is the student’s responsibility to request an appointment with Instructional Testing to take exams and bring in the necessary testing materials.

Proctored Exams

To submit a proctored exam, faculty must:

  1. Arrange all course testing dates for the semester with Instructional Testing no later than the week of accountability.

  2. Download the "Proctored Testing Form" and open in Adobe Acrobat DC for fillable method.

  3. Complete the form and identify what materials are needed for the exam (only items identified by the instructor are allowed into the testing area – e.g., calculator, notes, etc).

  4. Submit the Proctored Testing Form, class roster, and exam via email to learningsupporttesting@estrellamountain.edu or in person at the Computer Commons to the testing technician.

  5. Instruct the students(s) that the exam will be proctored on an availability basis on the dates of the exam. (The exam can be taken throughout the day, but is limited by the number of spaces available. If all spaces are occupied, a student will take the exam as soon as space becomes available).
