English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) non-credit classes are designed for English language learners who would like to improve their speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar, and writing skills. You will practice language to communicate information for personal, college, and career readiness. There are 6 non-credit class levels offered at EMCC from absolute beginner to advanced. Each learner’s needs are unique, therefore this program does not require you to begin at level one. You will need to take the CELSA test in order to be placed in the class that is right for you.
As a NonCredit ESOL student, you will also have the opportunity to connect with an ESL Tutor throughout your journey. Please see the ESL Tutor flyer under Downloads at the top of the page.
