Interior Design

When you walk into a room, do you immediately appreciate its aesthetics and how it was designed to achieve a cohesive feel? Or does the word renovation pop into your head as you envision how you’d improve its style and appearance? In either case, your future could be in interior design. We created our Interior Design program to prepare you for an entry-level position or, if you are already in the field, to enhance your skills in specialized areas for more competitive interior design jobs.

Our qualified instructors teach a wide range of courses in design, interior merchandising, home staging, kitchen and bathroom remodels, and upholstery. You’ll learn about color theory and application, architectural and furniture history, drafting and computer-aided design (CAD) for space planning, interior materials, rendering, basic codes and regulations, and much more.

If your career is ready for a renovation, and you can’t wait to start wowing your clients, then it’s time to join the Interior Design program and start your journey today.

Students at any Maricopa Community College may need to complete courses at more than one of our colleges.
