Events at EMCC range from trainings and workshops to performances to expos to career panels to full celebrations.

When planning events at EMCC, consider the following:

  • Have you discussed this event with your Supervisor or Division Chair?
  • Why is this event important?  How will this add to the environment and culture of EMCC?
  • Do I need to have any forms completed in order to meet the Admin Regulations for this type of event (i.e. Requests for Reduced Rent, Facility Use Agreements, Certificates of Insurance, etc.)?
  • Does the event need funding?  Is there time to get the funding approved?  Is an Official Function Form needed?
  • When and where should this event take place?  Is there enough time to plan?
