Estrella Mountain Community College is situated on 135 acres. Upon completion of the 2004 Bond Program, which represents Estrella’s phase III development, approximately 60 acres were fully landscaped.
The plan for Estrella Mountain’s landscape is charted in the Campus Master Planning. The plan outlines the plant materials in use in the various areas and describes these areas or zones as; the perimeter zone, transition zone, oasis and gardens. Essentially, arid or desert plant materials are located at the perimeter of the campus, with the plantings becoming lush towards the center of the campus or at the garden and oasis zones.
To report landscaping problems, use the Facilities HELP DESK, or call either 58294 or 58296.
