Yes MCCCD –EMCC participates in the E-Verify program and complies with the federal law which requires all employers to verify the identity and employment eligibility of all persons hired to work in the United States.  The employer will provide SSA and, if necessary, DHS with information from each new employee’s Form I-9 to confirm work authorization. To document that each new employee (both citizen and non-citizen) hired after November 6, 1986, and working in the United States is authorized to work in the Unites States.

If you need verification of employment please come to our Human Resources office to complete a W-2 Duplicate Copy/Information Request Form. Once completed we will forward it to the District Office and they will process the verification within 48-72 hours. 

There are two ways you can receive a copy of your W-2. The first is retrieving it from HCM. Click here to view the ste-by-step guide on how to retrieve it.

If you are unable to log into HCM, please come to our Human Resources office to complete a W-2 Duplicate Copy/Information Request Form. Once completed we will forward it to the District Office so you can be sent a copy of your W-2.

Maricopa has certain deadline dates for our payroll. Click here to view the payroll calendar. This calendar lets you view the start and end of the bi weekly pay deadlines as well as what day you should be able to receive your check. Keep in mind that each pay period is 2 weeks and the start of the pay period is on Saturday.

If you need to add or make changes to your direct deposit please come to our Human Resources office to complete a Direct Deposit Form. Once completed we will forward it to the District Office for activation.

Business cards are ordered through the EMCC Human Resource (HR) Office. Employees can submit a business cards request form on the HR website.

NOTE: Employees will need to log-in using their MEID and password. In order to do so, an employee will need to know:

  • Title (working titles must be approved prior to printing)
  • Department Name
  • Office Phone Number
  • Fax Number (optional)
  • Cell Number (if employee has a EMC cell phone allowance)
  • Email Address
  • Quantity Ordering
  • FMS Department Number (to charge for printing costs)

It is important to note, only full-time EMCC employees and faculty are eligible to order business cards with college funds. RPS employees, student workers, and adjunct faculty are not permitted to order business cards with college funds without approval from senior leadership.

V.B.5. APPROVAL OF ELIMINATION OF ACTIVE RETIREMENT PROGRAM - approve the elimination of the Active Requirement Program for all employee groups effective July 1, 2010. Elimination of this program will result in savings that are needed to meet budget shortfalls due to declines in State Aid and slowed growth in property taxes. The actual amount of savings for FY 10-11 is $3.4 M and this is needed to cover budget shortfalls.
