COVID-19 Update: The EMCC campus is open for classes, appointments, and walk-in services. Masks are required for everyone inside ALL buildings at EMCC.  All student support services are still available online. Students are encouraged to contact their instructors for additional information.

Beginning of Semester List

Helpdesk

  • Re-image classroom computers as needed
  • Turn on classroom computers a week prior to the semester to ensure updates are installed
  • Verify required software is installed on Instructor stations (ie Microsoft Office, DVD playback software, etc)
  • Check wireless cart laptops to ensure they are working and updated
  • Spot check computers in each room to ensure that they boot up, login, and are able to print

Network Services

  • Check the wireless network to ensure that all wireless access points are up and running
  • Check Printer server to make sure all print queues are available
  • Reset Student Print Balances
  • Verify the student file server is operational and available for use

Audio Visual Technology

  • Check that classroom projectors are working
  • Clean projector filters, where needed
  • Replace projector lamps, where needed
