COVID-19 Update: The EMCC campus is open to EMCC employees, students attending on-campus classes, or those with an appointment. All student support services are available online. Students are encouraged to contact their instructors for additional information.

Beginning of Semester List

Helpdesk

  • Re-image classroom computers as needed
  • Turn on classroom computers a week prior to the semester to ensure updates are installed
  • Verify required software is installed on Instructor stations (ie Microsoft Office, DVD playback software, etc)
  • Check wireless cart laptops to ensure they are working and updated
  • Spot check computers in each room to ensure that they boot up, login, and are able to print

Network Services

  • Check the wireless network to ensure that all wireless access points are up and running
  • Check Printer server to make sure all print queues are available
  • Reset Student Print Balances
  • Verify the student file server is operational and available for use

Audio Visual Technology

  • Check that classroom projectors are working
  • Clean projector filters, where needed
  • Replace projector lamps, where needed
