Friday, November 20
Saturday, November 21

8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

This action-packed event brings together the best creative minds in the West Valley to build real-life solutions to challenges facing our community. This exciting event welcomes community college students of all majors, backgrounds, and experience to build community and practice business entrepreneurial skills needed in today's workforce. Help make the West Valley into a vibrant, innovative community you are proud to call home!

Join ASU Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Estrella Mountain Community College as they team up to give emerging innovators an opportunity they will never forget!

The event starts with a presentation of real challenges our community is facing due to COVID-19. The week leading up to the event, students who register will receive emails, tools, and video presentations by local organizations dealing with real challenges faced in our community. Participants can also submit problems they want to solve.

On Friday, November 20, from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., participants will create diverse work teams to develop real-life solutions and pitch their innovative ideas. Local mentors will be available to give feedback and ideas.

Then Saturday, November 21, from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., participants will work with their teams to refine their idea, create an implementation strategy and pitch their idea to local leaders. A panel of community leaders will select student groups to win fantastic prizes, including scholarship funding.

To be eligible for the scholarships, you must be a current EMCC student and participate in both days.

Certificate of participation will be awarded to everyone that attends and scholarship money will be awarded to the first- and second-place teams!
