During the fair, attendees will:
- Meet with local restaurants that are hiring
- Find out how to get your education paid for with the Avondale Edge EMCC Scholarship
- Learn about the EMCC Culinary Arts Program and tour the kitchen facilities
About the Avondale Edge EMCC Scholarship:
The City of Avondale, AZ in partnership with Estrella Mountain Community College is helping students who work in the culinary/hospitality sector to continue their educational pathway and achieve their career goals. The scholarship will cover tuition, books, equipment and/or industry-recognized certifications.
This scholarship opportunity is open to current food service employees working within the City of Avondale, high school students in the Avondale service area, and Avondale Residents.
