Kindness And Respect @ EMCC

What is the KARE Campaign?

Kindness and respect are integral to providing the best possible service to our students, our colleagues, and our community. We all want to give and receive kindness and respect. Sometimes, in the busyness of work and life, we forget to take the time. To help remind us, we at Estrella Mountain Community College have formed a KARE team dedicated to help all members of the college community find positive ways to focus our energies on kindness and respect.

One of those ways is our new partnership with the Ben’s Bells Project to create a kindness tree mural (made possible by a generous anonymous donation). We will also be participating in their Kind Colleagues 12-month program to emphasize kindness and respect in the workplace to expand our culture of integrity, collaboration, and diversity. Please be on the lookout for information about workshops, engagement activities, and kindness reminders.
