Creating Persistent Links to Films On Demand Streaming Videos

Due to space limitations, URLs in the following examples may display across multiple lines, even though they are just individual, long URLs.

To avoid known conflicts with Internet Explorer, configure the links to open in a new window.

Films On Demand provides easy access to persistent URLs for videos and segments within those videos.

In Films on Demand, when you are on the main page for a video, look in the lower left corner of the page for an area that says Title URL.  The Title URL is the persistent URL to use for this video.  An example of such a link is:

http://libproxy.estrellamountain.edu/login?url=http://digital.films.com/...

Most videos also have a list of segments in the right column.  When you click on a specific segment, look in the lower left corner of the page for an area that says Segment URL, which is the persistent URL for that specific segment of the video.
