PALS (Personal Allies for Learning Success)

Feeling overwhelmed as you navigate your first year with EMCC? Or just curious as to what EMCC has to offer you to cultivate your academic and personal success?

You have PALS at EMCC to help you make your first-year experience a success!

Your highly trained PALS are students just like you. They come from diverse backgrounds and many are the first in their family to attend college. They experienced challenges similar to those you may be going through and can share how they overcame them to create success at EMCC!

With over 25 hours of training, your PALS are well prepared to help you with:

  • Your EMCC Success Plan
  • Managing your time
  • Developing effective study skills
  • How to balance college, work, and life
  • Connecting to campus resources
  • Getting involved on campus
  • ...and more!

PALS support is free to EMCC students! You can meet with PALS Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Your PALS look forward to meeting you!
