The Computer Applications Technology program at EMCC provides students with the practical and technical skills leading to a rewarding career in many business environments. Successful students will receive an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) or a Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Computer Applications Technology.
Technology fluency is increasingly necessary as a core competency in most business roles; this program is meant to provide a foundational technical skill set. Courses include office applications skill-building including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, presentations and financial record-keeping, as well as fundamental production ability in website creation and skills in desktop publishing for print layouts.
