Estrella Mountain Community College’s Teacher Education programs involve the entire pipeline of teacher preparation from high school to university to post-graduate course work. The programs branch across all aspects of teacher recruitment, preparation, pathway selection, and professional development.

For teaching candidates, EMCC offers a variety of courses and degree programs that transfer to all of Arizona’s public and private universities, including Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Special Education, Secondary Education, and Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).

Even if you already have your teaching certificate, EMCC offers continuing professional development opportunities in the areas of Structured English Immersion (SEI) and Gifted Education Endorsement.  Both of these programs lead to full endorsements on your certification.
